Number 10: Spider Verse #6 | MARVEL | 2020 | This issue features several first appearances: The Spinster, Sea-Spider, Spider-Requiem, Garden-Spider, Spider-Sting, V, Sun-Spider, Spidair, and White Widow. SPIDER-MAN: SPIDER-VERSE will feature Miles of Morales traveling across different dimensions, which is also noted to include more than 200 spider figures! With so many coming out, some of these first appearances are bound to grace the silver screen, even if only for a brief period. This helped CovrPrice track raw materials at an existing $254 FMV with a whopping $1,575 sale for a CGC 9.8.

number 9: THOR: God of Thunder #2 | MARVEL | 2012 | Thor is back in the top ten this week! Gorr’s debut reclaimed a place in the top ten as fans held on tight, waiting to see their first glimpse of Christian Bale’s God Butcher! This book will likely reach new highs when we finally see Gorr in future Thor trailers. This week, we tracked a high of $480 for 9.8.

number 8: Batman Beyond: The White Knight #1 – Reprint – Foil Virgin (1:25) | DC | 2022 | Robin’s new cameo has found another way to return to the top ten. Released just last week, Sean Murphy’s beautifully illustrated, pristine alternate ratio left the printing press ablaze. In less than a week, we have tracked it at the current crude FMV level of $85.

number 7: Revenge #1 | MARVEL | 2011 | Multiple madness is here! America Chavez’s film debut brought the spotlight back on in her first appearance. Without spoiling any of the elements of the film, Xochitl Gomez gave an excellent performance as America Chavez. It seems, for the foreseeable future, that America is here to stay in the MCU. We tracked raw materials at a current FMV of $392 with a high of $1250 selling for 9.8 CGC.

Number 6: Captain Carter #1 Animated Variant (1:25) | MARVEL | 2022

Another MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS book falls into the top ten. After debuting on Disney + What If? Animated series, Captain Carter appears in a teaser for the movie MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS. It’s only fitting that the same artistic style was greeted on the cover of her first solo series. We tracked down a high $325 sale for an initial copy, with a total FMV of $170.

no 5: Thor #1 | MARVEL | 2014 | The first cover featured Jane Foster as the iconic Thor, leading fans to consider this book when thinking about the character. This trend continues after the trailer for THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER debuted, where we tracked down high sales of $501 for a CGC 9.8 and an $80 raw FMV.

Number 4: Exiles #3 | MARVEL | 2018 | This is an interesting book to see in the top 10. The cover of this book features Peggy Carter in Captain America’s costume, leading some to believe that this is Captain Carter’s debut, which is not true. As mentioned, this is Peggy Carter’s first appearance, dressed as Captain America, a completely different character. Captain Carter’s first comic book appearance was her series in March 2022, in Captain Carter #1. It seems, for now, that fans are clamoring for this hard-to-find issue. We tracked down raw materials in FMV of $69 with a high sale of $500 for 9.8.

Number 3: Assassin and son #1 | Scouting Cartoons | 2020 | WWE fans are no strangers to the 2022 Hall of Fame, Shad Gaspard, who wrote ASSASSIN AND SON #1. For those who aren’t WWE fans, you might enjoy the fun fact that Shad introduced the motion capture of the infamous Kratos in God of War 2018. At Last week, news broke that this series was Selected for Film by State Street Pictures. Since the announcement, this book has received increasing attention. We tracked raw materials at the current $30 FMV with a high sale of $80 for 9.8.

Number 2: New Avengers #7 | MARVEL | 2005 | MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS has sparked the debut of many new characters and the emergence of a new team. Once the Illuminati was confirmed in the latest trailer, fans flocked to catch the first appearance of the legendary Marvel group. Since the movie is still new, we will be keeping our mouths muted about the amazing experience that awaits first-time viewers! We tracked down raw copies at FMV of $72 with a high sale of $415 for a CGC 9.8.

No. 1: Great Thor #326 – Newsstand | MARVEL | 1982 | Another interesting book that you see in the top ten list! The season finale for MOON KNIGHT saw many twists and turns. One of them was seeing the gorgeous Laila spread her wings and fly in a new role (quite literally). Since then Marvel She confirmed her new identity as Scarlet Scarab. What is interesting about this book is that there is no clear relationship between the television portrayal of the hero and his comic book counterpart. This is the first appearance of the second Scarlet, the son of the first scarab who first appeared in Invaders #23. Regardless of that breakup, this book has seen a massive increase in sales since concluding the MOON KNIGHT series with Raw Materials at FMV at $43 and selling high of $345 for 9.6 CGC.
