In 2007, she denied undergoing cosmetic surgery and said her flawless skin is down to a healthy lifestyle.
‘To be honest, I am completely natural,’ she told Marie Claire at the time.
‘I wear sunscreen and I don’t smoke. I take care of myself. I’m very proud to say that.’
However, in 2011, she was admitted to obtaining Botox during an interview with German magazine, TV Movie.
‘I’ve tried a lot of things, but aside from sports and good nutrition, most things don’t make a difference,’ she said.

‘I even tried Botox but I didn’t like how my face looked afterwards. Now I don’t use it any more and I can move my forehead again.’
Nicole is currently busy filming her upcoming Amazon drama series Expats, which is based on Janice YK Lee’s novel The Expatriates and follows the vibrant and extravagant lives of a wealthy expat community.
She began working on the project in Hong Kong last year in August amid the country’s Covid-19 restrictions.
At the time, Hong Kong government announced Nicole had been granted an exemption from the country’s mandatory seven-day quarantine so that she could film Expats.
As part of her exemption, Nicole was required to be vaccinated against Covid-19, stay in a ‘designated residence’, get tested for the virus regularly and provide ‘work-related itineraries’, according to Dimsumdaily Hong Kong.
News of Kidman’s exemption quickly sparked backlash on social media, with several Hong Kong locals complaining about the apparent ‘double standard’ enjoyed by the celebrity visitor.
